Growing up, Alexis was shy and had to be asked multiple times before she would sing informally in front of her peers. She didn't dare sing a solo, yet she did sing in choirs from time to time. At about the age of 15, she started to sing on-stage. Since performing off and on for a decade, Alexis has been able to perform with some of The Pacific Northwest's most gifted, and even some world-renown artists, including: Janice Marie Scroggins, Desmond Spann, Eldon T. Jones, Chris Turner,

Ken Berry, and Brian Ward.

 

She has participated in various kinds of events, including those open to the public such as: holiday events, high school basketball games, church services, talent shows, open mics, and local live television and radio shows. Private events were also opportunities where she could connect with audiences: weddings, funerals, birthday parties, cultural events, appreciations, etc. . In 2010, she released her demo. She personally sold hundreds of copies, and will still sell you a copy today if you would like. (Just know your order may take a couple of weeks to process).

Alexis continues to perform live and record. She makes sure everyone knows who her favorite artist is, Stevie Wonder! She hopes her music inspires you, heals you, teaches you, and reminds you what's most important in life.
